[BATTLE OF BRITAIN]: A colour 6 x 8.5 postcard published by After the Battle and depicting a Vickers Armstrong Supermarine Spitfire IIA in flight, individually signed by twenty Royal Air Force fighter pilots of World War II, nineteen of whom participated in the Battle of Britain, comprising Denis Crowley-Milling, Jeffrey Quill, James Lacey, Robert Stanford-Tuck, John Nicholas, Johnnie Kent, Sandy Johnstone, Brian Kingcombe, Colin Gray, Bobby Oxspring, Denys Gillam, Harry Broadhurst, Johnnie Johnson, Alan Deere, John Cunningham, Roland Beamont, Hugh Dundas, David Scott-Malden, Peter Townsend and Neville Duke. All have signed with their names alone in blue or black inks and some of the signatures are a touch light owing to the ink not adhering well to the glossy surface.
