GOLTZ RUDIGER VON DER: (1865-1946) German General of World War I who commanded the Baltic Sea Division. Successfully intervening in the Finnish Civil War in 1918, Goltz effectively ruled the country as a military dictator, whilst protecting German interests, until December 1918. Dark fountain pen ink signature to the head of a blank correspondence card, further adding details of several of his military positions in his hand beneath his signature, including that of German General in Finland, 1918. With a small rubber stamped address to the lower left corner. Very slightly irregularly trimmed to the left edge, otherwise VG
