A scarce vintage signed 3.5 x 5.5 photograph of Akhmatova standing in a semi-profile three-quarter length pose wearing a black dress and shawl, with one hand gently raised to her necklace and the other holding a folder of papers. Signed with her initial ( 'A' ) in blue ink to the verso, further adding a small series of other initials and the date, 24th December 1962, in her hand. VG
