A boldly written letter by Dumas addressed to Billion, Director of the Theatre National in Paris, referring to his playwrights which will be performed in the next-future and to the amounts Dumas has to receive, mentionning his well-known work The Three Musketeers, and stating in part ` Mille francs de prime en signant – mille francs sur l’autre ouvrage en remettant le manuscrit de celui-ci, c’est-à-dire de Clichy [Pièce La Barrière de Clichy], le 5 février au plus tard et plus tôt s´il convient à Mr. Dumas - Cinq cents francs à M. Maquet pour les ouvrages dont il sera.
