WHITEREAD RACHEL: (1963- ) - WHITEREAD RACHEL: (1963- ) English artist, the first woman to win the Turner Prize (1993). Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph, the image depicting her sculpture Untitled (Stairs) (2001) in the Tate Modern, London. Signed by Whiteread in black ink with her name alone to the base of the image. A pencil note in the hand of a collector to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person at the Belvedere 21 Museum of Contemporary Art in Vienna. EX
