EUWE MAX: (1901-1981) Dutch chess player and mathematician, World Chess Champion 1935-37. A.N.S., M Euwe, to the upper third of a folding sheet of aerogramme stationery, Amsterdam, 8th May 1956, in French. Euwe writes, in full, 'Voici ma signature avec meilleures salutations' (Translation: 'Here is my signature with best regards').
