Small selection of nine Ds.S., Rex Harrison , each being signed cheques, New York, January - June 1960. All of the partially printed cheques are completed entirely in Harrison's hand and are drawn on the Bankers Trust Company and made payable to various women including Edith Jackson, Mary Green, Josephine Nielson etc., in payment of weekly salaries of $100 each or less, and a few made payable to different organisations including the S. Jacquin Employment Agency. All with bank cancellations (only one very slightly affecting Harrison's signature). Generally VG, 9 At the time of issuing the present cheques Harrison was appearing as the General in the original Broadway production of Jean Anouilh's play The Fighting Cock at the ANTA Theatre.
