HALEY JACK: (1897-1979) - HALEY JACK: (1897-1979) American actor and entertainer, remembered for his portrayal of the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz (1939). Small selection of four Ds.S., Jack Haley , each being signed cheques, Beverly Hills, California, 11th & 15th September 1972. The partially printed cheques, all completed in typescript, are all drawn on the Lake Pillsbury Properties account at the Bank of California and are made payable to various individuals and companies including the Pacific Telephone Co. and the Reliable Mill Supply Co. for different sums between $11.07 and $97.32. All are signed by Haley in blue ink and none of the bank cancellations affect his signatures. VG. 4
