BURNS GEORGE: (1896-1996) American comedian and actor, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actor in 1975 for his role as Al Lewis in The Sunshine Boys. Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of Burns standing in a half-length pose and holding a lit cigar in one hand. A luminated sign hangs in the immediate background promoting The George Burns Special, a variety television special from 1976 which Burns hosted and performed in. Signed by the entertainer in bold blue ink with his name alone to a light area of the image. EX
