Seaborg (1912-1999) American chemist, Nobel Prize winner for Chemistry, 1951; Arthur Kornberg (1918-2007) American biochemist, Nobel Prize winner for Physiology or Medicine, 1959; James A. Van Allen (1914-2006) American space scientist who gave his name to the Van Allen radiation belts; and Clyde Tombaugh (1906-1997) American astronomer who discovered Pluto in 1930.
