LE CLEZIO J.M.G: (1940- ) French Writer. Nobel Prize in Literature in 2008. An excellent A.L.S., `Jmg le Clezio´, one page, 4to, Nice, 19th February 1977, to Georges Renoy, in French. Le Clezio responds to his correspondent´s invitation to participate in his edition of "Des Villes & des Hommes" collection, and states in part, `Your project seems interesting to me, and I think that I would like to have additional information regarding the spirit of your collection. I mean, are these limited editions books? With illustrations - or photographs? What sizes? These questions (and more for sure will come) have their importance, and will allow me to better judge if I can undertake such work…´ Very small overall creasing, otherwise VG
