DAVIS JOE: (1901-1978) English snooker and billiards player, World Snooker Champion 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940 and 1946. Vintage signed sepia postcard photograph of Davis standing in a half-length pose and holding his cue in his hands. Signed in green fountain pen ink with his name alone to a light area of the image. Together with Fred Davis (1913-1998) English snooker and billiards player, World Snooker Champion 1948, 1949, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955 and 1956. Brother of Joe Davis. Signed 4 x 6 photograph of Davis in a half-length pose leaning over a snooker table and with a cue in his hands. Signed in blue ink to a clear area of the image.
