Hauteclocque sends a photograph to his correspondent and kindly asks her to forgive him for the delay. He further states `I have been working on a new reportage about Germany, working day and night, because so much has been written about this topic that it is very difficult to get something good without huge efforts..«. Hauteclocque concludes thanking her correspondent and referring to her husband saying `..you have the indulgence of including me among the good journalists workers, me who considers your husband an example to follow.« VG £80-100 Henri Beraud (1885-1958) French Novelist. Sentenced to death for collaboration with Nazis in 1945. The sentence was later commuted to life imprisonment.
