BOOK OF HOURS: An excellent and very attractive book of hours, being a facsimile edition of “Book of Hours of Leonor of Portugal”, a limited edition of 500 copies. The book of hours contains 256 pages, 6 x 8, colour illuminated, richly illustrated, in Latin. Known as `As Perfeitissimas Horas da Rainha D.Leonor´, or the “The Rich Hours of Vrelant”, circa 1470, this book of hours is considered a sample masterpiece work of miniature grisaille. Attractively bounded in brown leather. VG £600-900
