CALDWELL KEITH : (1895-1980) New Zealand Fighter Ace of the Royal Flying Corps in World War I. Caldwell rose to the rank of Air Commodore during WWII. Recipient of the DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross). A.N. by Caldwell, brown paper, in pencil, to an oblong 12mo piece, evidently neatly clipped from a document and with the typed and printed heading text ''Remarks on Hostile Aircraft: - Type, armament, speed, etc.'' The document also bears the typed text ''Fokker Biplanes - 1 Hostile Kite Balloon''. Caldwell annotates few words to the left border `1 Balloon - 5..« With a file hole to the upper left corner. G £80-100
