Meyerbeer thanks his correspondent stating `..for the kindness you have shown for Marguerite d«Anjou and at the same time for meeting a man of letters, whose works have already given me so much pleasure reading..« With blank address leaf. VG £100-150 Marguerite d«Anjou (1826) A lyric drama by Meyerbeer, based on a French text by Thomas Sauvage (1794-1877). The premiere took place at the Odeon in Paris, 1826.
