CARON GEORGE: (1919-1995) American pilot, Tail Gunner of the Enola Gay during the historic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, 6th August 1945. Book signed, being a softcover edition of Hiroshima - I Saw it First by Caron, published in 1993, representing an interview by George Pair with Caron and providing an eyewitness account of the bombing of Hiroshima, a quote to the front cover reading 'I hope that no one in the future will ever again witness what I saw from the tail of the Enola Gay'.
