LANCHESTER ELSA: (1902-1986) British-American actress, remembered for her role as the title character in the science fiction horror film Bride of Frankenstein (1935). Vintage signed postcard photograph of the actress in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Martha Jones from the film Vessel of Wrath (1938). Signed by Lanchester in fountain pen ink with her name alone to a largely light area at the base of the image. VG
