REBECCA: An excellent signed 10 x 8 photograph by both Joan Fontaine (the second Mrs. de Winter) and Laurence Olivier (Maxim de Winter) individually, the image showing the actors standing outdoors in three-quarter length profile poses opposite each other, with a car in the immediate background, in a scene from the romantic psychological thriller film Rebecca (1940), directed by Alfred Hitchcock and adapted from Daphne du Maurier's novel of the same name. Signed by both Fontaine and Olivier in black inks with their names alone to light areas at the base of the image. Both Fontaine and Olivier were nominated for Oscars for their performances in this film, which did however win the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1940.
