ZAIMIS ALEXANDROS: (1855-1936) Greek politician who served as Prime Minister of Greece 1897-99, 1901-02, 1915, 1916, 1917 & 1926-28 and as President of Greece 1929-35 (the third and last President of the Second Hellenic Republic). An unusual signed presentation montage, the 4to card bearing two red and black wax seals, one with pale blue and white ribbons attached, and with a postcard corner mounted beneath, the embossed relief image depicting the ancient Greek Temple of Poseidon on Cape Sounion. Signed in black fountain pen ink by Zaimis, in Greek, to the head of the card, adding the place and date, 11th February 1933, in his hand.
