MATISSE HENRI: (1869-1954) French artist. A good, large signed monochrome 14.5 x 11 reproduction of one of Matisse's pencil drawings of the head of a lady, originally executed in 1934, evidently neatly removed from a book, signed ('Henri Matisse') by the artist in black fountain pen ink to the lower right corner, above his facsimile signature, and dated 19th July 1939 in his hand.
