SAYONARA: - SAYONARA: A vintage sepia 4to page removed from the annual publication Who's Who in Hollywood (Vol. 1, No. 13, 1958) featuring an article entitled The Golden Dozen and with text focusing on the stars of the drama film Sayonara (1957), also featuring an image of a scene from the film with Miyoshi Umeki (Katsumi Kelly) and Red Buttons (Airman Joe Kelly), individually signed by both Umeki and Buttons to a clear area of the page with their names alone. Umeki and Kelly won Best Supporting Actress and Actor Oscars for their performances in Sayonara , and autographs of Umeki are extremely rare in any form, and are particularly desirable on pieces associated with her most famous film.
