Baraguey d'Hilliers asks Beauharnais 'de me faire passer un etat exact et detaille de la force et de l'emplacement des postes, cantonnement, camps, garnisons, et dépots qui se trouvent dans l´arrondissement de votre commandement' (Translation: 'to convey to me an exact and detailed statement of the strength and location of the posts, quarters, camps, garrisons and depots which are within your command's armoury') and remarks that he is in great need of the information and that it should be prepared and dispatched so that it reaches him before the 15th of the month.
