MASSENET JULES: (1842-1912) French composer of the Romantic era. A.N.S., with his initials J. M., to one side of his personal printed oblong 12mo Visiting Card, Rue Malesherbes, n.d., in French. Above his printed name at the centre of the card Massenet has added 'M et Mme' in his hand, and beneath penned a brief note, 'avec nos plus sympathiques felicitations' (Translation: 'with our most friendly congratulations').
