A.L.S., R Leoncavallo, to the recto of the composer's personal printed oblong 12mo Visiting Card, featuring his printed name to the centre, n.p., n.d., to an unidentified correspondent, in Italian. Leoncavallo declares that the work is beautiful as it is and that he has already sent it in order for the correction to be made to the scene in the libretto.
