SANGER EUGEN: (1905-1964) Austrian aerospace engineer, known for his contributions to lifting body and ramjet technology. A small vintage signed 2 x 2.5 (5 x 6 cm) photograph of Sanger in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in blue ink with his name alone to the lower white border. Together with a 12mo piece bearing an autograph note, unsigned, probably in the hand of his wife Irene Sanger-Bredt (1911-1983) German engineer, mathematician and physicist, sending Professor Sanger's best wishes, in German.
