[EINSTEIN ALBERT]: (1879-1955) German-born theoretical physicist, Nobel Prize winner for Physics, 1921. A small group of three vintage 4 x 5 photographer's negatives, each depicting Einstein in various poses in 1922, the first a head and shoulders portrait of the physicist by French photographer Henri Manuel (the original of which was signed by both Einstein and Manuel), the second showing Einstein standing in a three-quarter length pose opposite the French physicist Paul Langevin, also by Manuel (the original of which was signed by the photographer) and the third depicting Einstein seated in a half-length profile pose, the photograph captured by Genia Reinberg (the original of which was signed by both Einstein and Reinberg).
