RODIN AUGUSTE: ( 1840-1917) French Sculptor. A.L.S., with his full name, `Auguste Rodin´, three pages, 8vo, n.p., 29th February 1913, to Monsieur G. Hanoteau, in French. Rodin congratulates his correspondent on the occasion of his wedding announcement, stating `Mon cher maitre, Je dois vous féliciter de l´annonce qui a été faite au journal de votre marriage officiellement. Madame Hanoteau recevra mes profonds hommages comme de votre ami ancien et comme votre ami dévoué, tout heureux....´ (“.. I must congratulate you on the announcement that has been made in the newspaper of your marriage officially. Madame Hanoteau will receive my sincere congratulations as from your old friend and as your devoted friend, with full happiness..”) Rodin further refers to a meeting he has `…aux B, Arts à propos de Rome?´ Corner crease to the upper right corner, otherwise about VG
