Rice thanks his correspondent for their letter requesting autographs and continues 'I have sent both cards and a copy of your letter to Andrew Lloyd Webber who will return them to you when he has signed his name on them. In the meantime I enclose a signed photograph of myself as I am afraid that I do not have a spare souvenir programme in my office at the moment' . Together with a 12mo white card bearing blue ink signatures of both Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice individually, neatly annotated in the calligraphic hand of a collector to the upper and lower edges and dated 1972. Also including a signed and inscribed 8 x 10 light paper stock image by Rice, depicting the lyricist in a head and shoulders pose with a poster advertising Jesus Christ, Superstar in the immediate background.
