SARASATE PABLO DE: (1844-1908) - SARASATE PABLO DE : (1844-1908) Spanish virtuoso Violinist and Composer. A very fine A.M.Q.S., ` P. de Sarasate´, one page, 8 x 6, oblong small 4to, Wiesbaden, November 1884, inscribed to ` Mademoiselle Rebecka Meyer´. Sarasate has penned a five bars of music which he entitles, adding the musical tempo, ` Allegretto - Symphonie Espagnole´. The “Symphonie Espagnole” is a violin concerto written specifically for Sarasate by Edouard Lalo. VG   Edouard Lalo (1823-1892) French Composer. Lalo composed the Symphonie Espagnole, a work for violin and orchestra, in 1874. The work was written for Pablo Sarasate who premiered it in Paris in 1875. The symphony is considered today as a violin concerto and is one of the two most played works of Lalo.
