A very fine A.M.Q.S., ` Ottorino Respighi´, a large signature example, one page, large folio, to a drawing sheet removed from an album, dated Chicago, 29 th January 1926 in his hand, in Italian. Respighi pens a four bars musical quote to the lower part of the page, annotating and underlining beneath ` Concerto in modo misolidio ´. The upper part of the page bears an inscription signed and dated by Elsa Respighi (1894-1996) Italian Singer and Composer. A former pupil of Ottorino Respighi who became her wife. Elsa Respighi annotates ` In ricordo di una deliziosa serata - Elsa Respighi Olivieri Sangiacomo - Chicago 29th January 1926´ (“In memory of a delicious evening”) Left edge slightly trimmed as a result of the removing of the page, otherwise VG
