GWENN EDMUND: (1875-1959) Welsh actor, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actor in 1947 for his role as Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street. A wonderful vintage signed and inscribed 7.75 x 10 photograph of Gwenn standing in a three-quarter length pose in costume from his Oscar winning performance as Kris Kringle in a scene from the Christmas comedy-drama film Miracle on 34th Street. Signed by Gwenn in bold white fountain pen ink to the image. Signed photographs of Gwenn as Santa Claus are rare and highly desirable. Very slightly neatly trimmed to the right white border, VG
