DALLESANDRO JOE: (1948- ) American actor and Warhol superstar, a sex symbol of gay subculture in the 1960s and 1970s. Signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Dallesandro in a bare-chested half-length pose with his nickname ('Little Joe') tattooed on one arm. The photograph is a publicity portrait for the Andy Warhol film Flesh (1968) in which Dallesandro starred in the role of the hustler Joe. Provenance: The present photograph originates from the collection of Pierre Goulliard, a French gentleman who, for over 50 years, dedicated himself to obtaining in person autographs of British, American and European movie stars, always obtaining the signatures in fountain pen ink.
