TRUFFAUT FRANCOIS: (1932-1984) French film director. Signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Truffaut in a head and shoulders, pose speaking on a telephone, in costume as the war veteran and newspaper editor Julien Davenne in a scene from the historical drama film The Green Room (1978) which Truffaut also directed. Signed in bold fountain pen ink to the image, across a darker area although reasonably legible. About EX
Provenance: The present photograph originates from the collection of Pierre Goulliard, a French gentleman who, for over 50 years, dedicated himself to obtaining in person autographs of British, American and European movie stars, always obtaining the signatures in fountain pen ink.
