Guitry states that his correspondent's request has flattered him immensely and he would like to talk with him, explaining that he will be on tour for a month from 12 th April, and then return to Paris at which time he will telephone Guenne to arrange an appointment. Guitry further remarks 'Votre revue est tres belle, elle est, en effet, tres vivante et il me serait tres agreable d'entrer en rapport avec vous' (Translation: 'Your magazine is very beautiful, it is, in fact, very vibrant and it would be very pleasant for me to get in touch with you' ). Some light overall creasing, otherwise about VG Jacques Guenne (1896-1945) French art critic, journalist and publisher associated with the bi-monthly magazine L'Art vivant from 1925-40.
