FAIRBANKS DOUGLAS: (1883-1939) - FAIRBANKS DOUGLAS: (1883-1939) American actor, host of the first Academy Awards ceremony in 1929. A good vintage signed and inscribed 7 x 9 photograph of the actor standing at the foot of some stone steps in a full-length pose in costume from one of his films. Signed in dark fountain pen ink to a largely light area at the base of the image. VG
