METTOT DOMINIQUE: (1749-1794) French Secretary of the Commune, executed together with Robespierre´s accomplices. D.S., Mettot, two pages, large folio, Paris, 25th may 1793, to Honoré Le Moyne Serigny, in French. The large partially printed document bearing the heading of the Commune of Paris, is a certificate signed by multiple members of the Parisian section of Mail, including Jean François Tranche-la-Hausse, President of the section, and Baron Dupin (1767-1828) general secretary of the Seine. Two ink stamps to the front with the French convention vignettes. With a very small area of paper loss to the lower border and edges partially trimmed. Folded. G £80-100
