CASTRO FIDEL: (1926- ) Cuban Prime Minister 1959-76 and President 1976- 2008. Signed large printed 9.5 x 7 folding card (24 cm x 17.5 cm), `Fidel Castro´, a large and good example of his signature, [1983-1984]. Affixed alongside his signature a 3.5 x 6.5 photograph of Castro walking alongside Valeria, the woman the card is dedicated to. To the inside, showing alongside the printed text "Fidel Castro Ruz - Valeria, como un modesto recuerdo y con gran admiracion por tu profesionalismo" ("Fidel Castro Ruz - Valeria, as a modest remembrance and with great admiration for your professionalism"), a 3.5 x 6.5 photograph of Castro, outdoors, standing in a full length pose and wearing his military uniform, alongside Valeria. Bearing to the verso an attractive printed colour image of the stained-glass work "Sol de America Revolucion" (1979) ("Sun of America Revolution"), a work by Mario Gallardo, exhibited at the Palace of the Revolution in La Habana.
