POSTEL GEORG-WILHELM: (1896-1953) German General of World War II, Knight's Cross winner with Oak Leaves and Swords. Vintage signed postcard photograph of Postel standing in a three-quarter length pose, in uniform, shaking hands with Adolf Hitler. Signed ('Georg-Wilhelm Postel') in bold blue fountain pen ink with his name alone to the lower border. With an ink annotation in another hand to the verso dated 1943.
