[WORLD WAR II]: A printed softcover oblong 8vo booklet containing various monochrome plates of bridges, docks, industrial works etc., in the North and North West of England ('The Border') published by the Army General Staff, Department of War Maps and Surveying, Berlin, 1942, the front cover marked as to be used only by members of the service and indicating that the images were up-to-date as of 15th May 1942, the booklet features forty images, with German captions and perforated left edges, including a railway bridge over the River Tweed in Berwick, a viaduct in Great Corby, a dock in Hartlepool, the Spillers factory in Newcastle, the Albert-Edward dock in Tynemouth, a BBC broadcasting mast in Newcastle and various other locations. A few pages loose, some staining and age wear, particularly evident to the brown and black printed paper wrappers. FR
