HIMMLER HEINRICH: (1900-1945) Nazi German Politician, Reichsfuhrer of the Schutzstaffel (SS) 1929-45. D.S., H. Himmler, one page, folio, Berlin, 14th April 1940, in German. The partially printed document, completed in manuscript and issued in the name of the Fuhrer and Reich Chancellor, appoints Werner Blisse to be a Security Police Lieutenant with the expectation that he will be true to his oath and 'will faithfully discharge his official duties and will justify the trust placed in him'. Signed by Himmler at the foot alongside a blind embossed seal featuring the Nazi eagle and swastika. With blank integral leaf. Two file holes to three sides of the document, none of which affect the text or signature. About VG
