MILLET JEAN FRANCOIS: (1814-1875) French Painter. Best known for his realism paintings of peasant and farmers. One of the founders of the Barbizon school. A good A.L.S., `J.F.Millet´, one page, 8vo, Barbizon, 3<sup>rd</sup> March 1864, to Gaston, in French. Millet states in part `Moi je travaille comme plusieurs negres pour accomplir, si c´est possible, un veau qui vient de naitre dans les champs et qu´on rapporte a l´étable. Je voudrais si c´est possible l´envoyer a l´Exposition et le 20 Mars est l´extreme limite des envois.
