RUBINSTEIN HELENA: (1872-1965) Polish-American cosmetics entrepreneur, art collector and philanthropist. T.L.S., Helena Gourielli, one page, 4to, New York, 6th October 1941, to Mr. Mincer, on the printed stationery of Gourielli Inc. Rubinstein thanks her correspondent for their letter regarding the opening of a new shop, commenting 'It was very nice of you to write to us, and the Prince and I very much appreciate your thoughtfulness'. An unusual form of Rubinstein's signature during her marriage to Prince Artchil Gourielli-Tchkonia from 1938-56. VG
