FONTEYN & NUREYEV: FONTEYN MARGOT (1919-1991) English ballerina & NUREYEV RUDOLF (1938-1993) Soviet ballet dancer. Two vintage individually signed 8 x 10 photographs by Fonteyn and Nureyev, the first depicting Fonteyn standing in a half-length ballet pose with her arms and hands outstretched above her head. Photograph by Houston Rogers of London and bearing his credit stamp to the verso. Signed ('Margot Fonteyn Arias') by Fonteyn in blue ink to the image and dated 1969 in her hand. The signature is a little light, although reasonably legible. The second photograph depicts Nureyev in a candid pose standing outdoors in a half length pose and holding a single flower in one hand. Signed ('R Nureyev') in bold purple ink with his name alone to the image. VG, 2
