DONIZETTI GAETANO: (1797-1848) Italian composer. A.M.Q.S., Mr. Donizetti, one page, slim oblong 8vo (apparently clipped from the head of a larger sheet of printed manuscript paper), n.p., 1842. Donizetti has penned several bars of music, with lyrics beneath, adding the words, 'Here is the theme which struck you', in his hand at the conclusion. Also signed by Donizetti on behalf of another gentleman, Mr. Joelsson (?). Some light age wear and two small stains to the lower edge, just affecting a couple of words of text. G
