CARRADINE DAVID: (1936-2009) American actor, remembered for his martial arts roles, not least in Kill Bill (2003). Signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Carradine seated in a head and shoulders pose, in costume as David Mountford, alongside actress Jean Seberg, in costume as Alexandra Mountford, in a scene from the Mexican-American Western film Macho Callahan (1970). Signed by Carradine in black fountain pen ink to a clear area at the centre of the image, adding a neatly penned yin and yang symbol beneath his signature. EX
Provenance: The present photograph originates from the collection of Pierre Goulliard, a French gentleman who, for over 50 years, dedicated himself to obtaining in person autographs of British, American and European movie stars, always obtaining the signatures in fountain pen ink.
