SANDERS GEORGE: (1906-1972) British actor, Academy Award winner. A superb vintage signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of Sanders seated in a three-quarter length pose, in costume as De Bois-Guilbert, alongside a row of other actors, in a scene from the British-American historical adventure epic film Ivanhoe (1952). Signed by Sanders in bold blue fountain pen ink with his name alone to a clear area of the image. Rare in this form. Provenance: The present photograph originates from the collection of Pierre Goulliard, a French gentleman who, for over 50 years, dedicated himself to obtaining in person autographs of British, American and European movie stars, always obtaining the signatures in fountain pen ink.
