FULLER SAMUEL: (1912-1997) American film director. Vintage signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Fuller standing in a three-quarter length pose, wearing sunglasses and holding a large cigar in one hand, opposite actor Rod Steiger, in a bare-chested pose, on the set of the American western film Run of the Arrow (1957). Signed by Fuller in black fountain pen ink to a clear area of the image, seemingly have experienced a little pen trouble from an earlier attempt to sign the photograph. Provenance: The present photograph originates from the collection of Pierre Goulliard, a French gentleman who, for over 50 years, dedicated himself to obtaining in person autographs of British, American and European movie stars, always obtaining the signatures in fountain pen ink.
