GUINNESS ALEC: (1914-2000) English actor, Academy Award winner. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of Guinness standing outdoors in a three-quarter length pose wearing a military uniform in costume as Colonel Nicholson from the epic war film The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957). Signed by Guinness in dark brown fountain pen ink with his name alone to a clear area of the background at the head of the image. It was for his performance in this film that Guinness won his Best Actor Oscar. Some very slight, minor corner creasing, otherwise VG
