WEST MAE: (1893-1980) American actress and sex symbol. An excellent vintage signed 10 x 8 photograph of West, the original 1933 Paramount Pictures publicity portrait showing the actress in a seductive head and shoulders pose, wearing diamond earrings, in costume as Lady Lou from the American crime/comedy film She Done Him Wrong (1933). Signed by West in bold black fountain pen ink to a clear area at the centre of the image, 'Come up and see me sometime, Mae West'. Signed photographs of West incorporating her famous signature line are scarce and desirable and this is a particularly good example. A few very light, minor corner creases, VG
